I have spent countless hours at home, watching her young children while she wrestled with agencies in an endless, continuing quagmire of beaurocracy trying to obtain funds. While she tries to nurse newborn twins, a phone is often attached to her ear. While some benefits have arrived, she has the daunting task of providing for these three children and herself for the rest of their lives. She is only 34 years old; her husband was 32. I implore you to expedite in the swiftest manner possible monies in the Sept. 11th Victim Compensation Fund. Further, I beg you to minimize the beaurocracy and forms that will be required of her and the thousands of others in the same position. Their heartache is enormous.
