The issue: should those who have already, or will be, compensated for their loss through pensions; insurance; and, a most generous amount of money received from charities? People all over the nation have already given hundreds of millions of dollars 'generously' through charities for the victims and survivors. They should not now be making the same 'contributions' through a government, taxpayer, giveaway program. There will be many, many 'so-called' victims of the event who will reap hundreds of thousands of dollars, many of whom may have not suffered a loss at all. In any event, none of the recipients of America's generosity should be 'enriched'; compensated commensurate with their loss - yes. Even then, it is not the business of government to 'enrich' some people at the expense of others, under the guise of 'charitable compensation'! We, here in Oklahoma, witnessed many people becoming 'rich' as a result of the Murrah Federal Office bombing.
