this is crazy

I do not understand why the U.S. people and its government owe anything to the survivors of those who died in the WTC attack. Because they can't sue Bin Laden they want us to pay? This is crazy. This is a sick, new need in this country to prove "blame" on someone accessible, with deep pockets, be it an airline or an airport authority of the Port Authority of New York.
I am grateful I haven't sent any money to the Red Cross or other fund for the victims of the WTC attack. More deserving charities are going begging because generous Americans sent money to New York; those are the charities I will help.
I hope you will keep this forum open, and that the debate will bring some sense to this insanity.
