compensation for gays and lesbians
Dear Sir/Madam,
I find it absolutely appalling that the surviving partners of gays and lesbians killed in the September 11 attacks will receive no compensation. The reasoning behind this decision is faulty and discriminatory. It is especially unfair that even illegal aliens affected by the tragedy will be compensated, but American born non-heterosexuals will not.
I am not gay, but I am a feminist and a political activist, and I can assure you that this issue is going to explode.
