I am very disturbed that the persons in charge of the government's victim
compensation fund have decided to exclude and/or discriminate against those families/partners of the victims who were gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered.

This is NOT the time or place to begin drawing lines in the sand as to who
should or should not be recognized as grieving family/partners because of state legal
definitions!

Please reconsider your decision and leave politics out of the equation!
All who died on September 11th are US victims. Do not victimize the
families/partners of gay/lesbian victims by refusing to compensate in some small way, the tremendous loss that they suffer.
