THE PLAN

I JUST CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY GOVERNMENT MAKES EVERYTHING SO
COMPLICATED!

WHY NOT A FLAT RATE FOR EVERYONE, AND EXTRA FOR EACH DEPENDENT?
SIMPLE? I THINK SO!

AND MR. FEINBERG, LET'S NOT HAVE TO HEAR YOU SAY THIS IS A
'CHARITABLE GESTURE FROM THE TAXPAYERS' AGAIN!

THE COMMENT MAKES ME THINK THAT IT WAS YOUR INTENTION TO AGITATE
THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER INTO A BELIEF THAT THE FAMILIES ARE SIMPLY
UNGRATEFUL IF THEY DON'T BUY INTO THIS DEAL COMPLETELY. HOGWASH!

YOU ARE TAKING THE RIGHTFUL ABILITY TO LITIGATE AWAY FROM
EACH FAMILY. THAT MAKES THIS PROGRAM A BUSINESS DEAL, WITH MY
SIDE UNABLE TO NEGOTIATE THANKS TO CONGRESS.

OUR &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp WAS A POLICEMAN WHO LOST HIS LIFE SAVING OTHERS ON
THAT UGLY DAY.
POLICE OFFICER &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp, 30, WAS A MEMBER OF THE NYPD ELITE
EMERGENCY SERVICE UNIT, &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp.

NOW WE ARE TOLD WE MUST DEDUCT HIS LIFE INSURANCE FROM THE 'AWARD' AND A
VAGUE 'PENSION ADJUSTMENT'.

YOU WEREN'T PAYING HIS INSURANCE PREMIUMS, HE WAS. AND WE WOULD RATHER
HAVE HIM ALIVE WITH US TODAY TO COLLECT HIS OWN PENSION. A PENSION, I
MIGHT ADD, THAT HE CONTRIBUTED TO.

WHY NOT DEDUCT HOME EQUITY, STOCKS AND BONDS, SAVINGS ACCOUNTS AND I
WILL LOOK FOR A JAR IN THE HOUSE WHERE THERE MAY BE SOME SPARE
CHANGE WE CAN ROLL UP AND DEDUCT FROM THIS 'CHARITABLE GESTURE' AS
WELL.

"CHARITABLE GESTURE ON THE PART OF THE TAXPAYERS" IS A FREE TICKET TO
A MOVIE I'VE SEEN A HUNDRED TIMES BEFORE. NO THANKS.

I JUST KNOW THAT WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE, SOMEHOW, THE &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp
WILL OWE THE GOVERNMENT MONEY!

RESPECTFULLY,

Individual Comment
