Then the government should supplement based on the total award amount to make up for that which was not provided for from any other source. Also, we should set up trust funds for the children to be used for college, additional education beyond high school or starting a business that will mature into $100,000 adjusted for inflation by the time they are 18. Ex. - A 17 year old at the time of Sept 11 would get $100,000. A 16 year old would get $104,000.00 next year a 15 year old $108160.00 in 2 years assuming an inflation rate of 4% long term.
