Exclusion from victim compensation of Gay and Lesbian Domestic Partners
This is a total outrage and insult. There is no reason on earth, except
prejudice, for you to exclude persons who can document their domestic
partnerships with home ownership, joint rentals, wills, etc. The laws of most
localities are discriminatory or simply do not address domestic partnership
and you know it. Relying on local law is a convenient way of avoiding
fairness. Bigotry is allive and well!
