Taliban is to women as victim fund is to gays???


Why are funds for 9-11 victims not being fairly distributed to the survivors
and families of gay/lesbian victims?

A gay man was one of the heroes that stopped a jet from destroying the U.S.
Congress...the of one flight was gay..and two gay men were returning
home with their newly adopted child before the aircraft was re-directed to
the twin towers.

Is this how we show what we think of these people's "relative" value as
compared to heterosexual heroes?

Have we learned nothing of the ultimate outcome of hate, discrimination, and
marginalization of people due to prejudices? Why can't someone in government
just have a simple leap of faith -- a leap of courage...regardless of the
political fallout. The last time a man had the courage to buck the national
sentiment the slaves were freed...

If you really dislike gays that much..remember, the survivors may not be gay.
