Compensation for Sept. 11 gay and lesbian victims


Dear Victim Compensations Representative:

I received an e-mail notice from Amnesty International regarding
the injustices associated with compensation issues for life partners
of gay and lesbian people killed in the terrorist attacks on
Sept. 11.

I encourage you to do as the state of New York is doing in these
matters - recognizing that anyone who "shared with the victim living
expenses, day to day activities and the emotional bonds of family
deserves help in this time of need."

This is an important aspect of trying to bring as much real
justic as possible in the horrible wak of the Sept. 11 tragedies.
