Thursday, March 14, 2002 11:26 AM Compensation Fund It seems impossible, but regrettably true that the U.S. Government would single out Gays' and Lesbians' survivors to not receive compensation for the losses of their loved ones - yet make an exception in the U.S. law to provide money to illegal aliens living in the country - not paying taxes or otherwise contributing to our country and society. This fund was given to aid survivors of the 9/11 atrocity. The government, once again, is not distributing the donations according to the wishes of those who donated them, but bowing to the political pressures of bigots and prejudice. When will the conservative right ever realize that our country was founded on freedom of religion, and EQUALITY FOR ALL. Not hatred and discrimination... All practiced in the name of religion. When will the United States of America take its rightful place in the world by treating all citizens with equal rights - ACTIONS speak much louder than words.........words..........words.
