After deducting life insurance and other compensation most families of single victims will be left with just a little money. Why are victims penalized for having Life and insurance? On this issue, life insurance and other compensation should not be deducted if compensation paid falls below a certain amount. Examples families who will be receiving less than 1millon should not have any deductions. This is one way to make the process a bit fair.
