Money cannot replace the joy of being with my son, however must I suffer further at the other extreme by being told that his value is $300,000? My son who lived a clean life did not use drugs, did not have any babies is being awarded the paltry sum of $300,000 as an unmarried individual after the insurance part is taken off. Would you really accept that for someone so special in your life? From what I have seen , it appears that the Government is seeking to satisfy 'big business' at the expense of the individual.. The airlines and now the insurance companies are able to get money but the individual is granted very little. My son had insurance and like others in my predicament we have to suffer extra because any insurance we are due will be deducted from the sum that is awarded. I think this is a GROSS insult to families Mr. Zwick, and I request that you at least withdraw that stipulation before I can begin to even consider what is being offered.
