Subject: Compensation
No one should receive compensation from the federal government over an above what S.S. would provide for the death of a family member or for what the families could garnish from United Airlines for their poor safety standards. People are shot, run over, and killed every day in this country and their families don't receive compensation from the federal government for those accidents. These people should have had life insurance on their loved ones that's why those institution exist. Their poor planing shouldn't cost the tax payers of this country squat. If compensation is paid, I will do my best to vote out the politicians that approved it. Living can be hazardous to your health. Their loss is no greater or less than anyone else who loses a loved one, but it's an improper precedent the gov't is setting that the country cannot afford.
