Compensation for victims' survivors


Excluding the gay and lesbian partners of people who died on 911 from being
eligible to receive compensation is an insult to the spirits of those who
perished! Why are illegal aliens eligible for recognition while gay and
lesbian American citizens not recognized? How dare you flaunt your
bigotry--it is equivalent to a hate crime that you can calmly exclude gays
and lesbians while hiding behind each state's eligibility rules. I wonder
what would think about the way you bureaucrats are treating people who have suffered the greivous loss of a partner. The
public will not swallow your lame excuses. Feinberg and Ashcroft--Shame on
you!
