compensation for all victims


It is unconscionable that my government will not compensate the many
families and partners of victims and heroes of the September 11th
attacks who are gays and lesbians! What kind of statement does this
make about our morality? We are compensating everyone else-- even those
who are in this country illegally---and we should do that.

As a straight couple, my husband and I are outraged and terribly sad.
The reasons given for this policy are not acceptable. Our government is
practicing discrimination in my name and I implore you to rectify this
wrong.

I could go on---you know this is the right thing to do. Someone,
please, step up to the plate and do the right thing. You can, if you
choose to do so.
