survivors benefits for Sept 11
Dear Sirs
It is hard for me to believe that you would choose to discriminate
against partners and children of lesbian and gay
people who died in the September 11 tragedy. Yes, we know that some
states do not recognize the validity of these families, but that is not
sufficient reason to leave them more bereft than ever. These are human
beings who lost livelihoods, love, parents, children, partners, parents.
Set aside your prejudices and be human and loving - it is only
righteous.
