And that's what it comes down to. Honoring them. They did not choose to loose their life partner on that fateful day, nor did they choose to die! They, along with thousands of other Americans were chosen, placed on that list, anonymously, by Osama Bin Laden, and his crazy followers. These people are Americans, they pay taxes, work every day, love their families and are loved by the American people. To prevent them from recieving benefits because of their sexual preference is as unAmerican as Osama's beliefs. WE cannot discriminate as an American people against anyone! Regardless of race, religion, or sexual preference, for ANYreason! If these people can prove a partner relationship, if they lived with and loved one of these people, then they are entitled to these benefits, just as any other American is!
