Concerning Victim Compensation
As a middle class nurse, mother, wife, step-mother, friend and someone
who has never missed voting, I am writing to say how upset I am over no
compensation for homosexual live-in couples. How is the partnership that
they have made together any different than those of hetersexual couples?
Couples who have made commitments emotionally and financially need protection
upon the death of one partner. If hetersexual couples are to receive
compensation from the horrendous loss of September 11th then I feel
homosexual couples should be granted the same rights.
