I have had the good fortune to reach the age of 82, healthy and enough wiser to know that for my government to indulge in the folly to permit compensation to be in any way based upon a state's evaluation of one's sexuality preference has got to be not only insulting but evil. The U.S. Army in its infinite wisdom may arrive at its own values, but when Sen. Goldwater remarked that a soldier need not be straight, only know how to shoot straight, he came much closer to the mark. Cut out the crap.
