It is also clear that the NYFD's , was among the most loved public servants in New York City. Do the families and loved ones of these two men and counless others deserve less (or no) compensation because they were gay? How can a nation that professes "liberty and justice for all" merely disregard the families of gay victims of 9/11 because their state doesn't happen to have an anti-discrimination policy protecting gays and lesbians? This is total hypocrisy. It's lunacy. It's a way of thinking that is back in the Dark Ages. And it spits in the face of all patriotic citizens of these United States. Discrimination breeds discrimination. Is that what we want for our citizens? If sp, we will become like the attackers themselves, who have no voice in government in the Muslim countries where they live and no social voice at all. Is this what we want? Please consider the policies of discriminating states as the social they are. If we want "justice for all", we must create it for all, with no exceptions.
