All those who suffered losses in 9/11 should be eligible for whatever
benefits are available regardless of immigrant, straight or gay or single or
married. This move to deprive human beings of aid simply because they are
gay is disgraceful. It is time for this administration to started dealing
with people as people regardless of belief or sexual orientation. Perhaps
stop talking so much to your God and start talking to real people. Your
decision to exclude certain people from help is godless and proves once again
the vindictiveness of the religious-right wing fanatics. This entire
administration is an abomination on this country and the world. Ashcroft
should step down and go back to whence he came.
