This e-mail is to urge the Department of Justice to include among relatives
eligible for compensation those who lost their life partners or de facto
parents or children, regardless of sexual orientation or marital status.
Please remember these very important words: "...with liberty and justice for
all". 'All' should mean 'ALL', not a simple majority. The families of ALL
the victims of Sept. 11th continue to suffer their losses equal to those whose
relationships are already legally recognized by 'the bureaucracy'. Please do not break their hearts again.
