Fair Compensation for Gays and Lesbians


To Whom It May Concern,


I recently read that the partners of gays and lesbians, which were killed in the September 11th attacks, will not receive the same compensation as other survivors.  I disagree with this policy, and I beleive that steps should be taken to rectify this injustice.  Gay and lesbian partners experienced the same emotional and financial hardships as the other survivors.  Regardless of one's opinion of gays and lesbians, we should all be standing up and protesting discriminatory practices such as this.
