My Family is Outraged at This Discriminatory Unfairness


TO THE ADMINISTRATORS OF THE VICTIM COMPENSATION FUND:

I feel shame and outrage that you have chosen to humiliate our national pride by excluding the gay and lesbian partners of those who died on September 11 from the fund. As a mother, as as wife, as a sister, as a friend, as an AMERICAN -- I am offended that these American citizens are not going to receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses.

I urge you to do whatever is necessary to right this wrong. WHATEVER IS NECESSARY.

Do the RIGHT thing.
