As a gay man I can't believe that I am a citizen of lesser importance that any other man, woman, child, fetus or illegal alien yet this is what I am hearing from Mr. Kenneth Feinberg who head the Victim Compensation Fund that was created by our own congress. In an article I just read quoting Mr. Feinberg's remarks to NBC's Meet the Press it clearly states that Mr. Feinberg regards gay and lesbian Americans as something less than others who are not gay or lesbian. I sincerely hope that those of you in a position to revise Mr. Feinberg's concept of humanity and fairness will address this matter with him and his organization. Imagine that donations to the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund were decreased by 10%. This is the statistical amount that gays and lesbians have donated to this fund. I hope that this matter is quickly addressed fairly and comprehensively.
