Hello,
After receiving an email telling me that gay and lesbian couples
involved in September 11 will not be getting the same compensation as
heterosexual couples, I was completely shocked and outraged. People are
people. Everyone went through the same trauma that day, whether they
were black, white, asian, or gay. In times like these, it is imperative
to stick together and honor and respect those who were innocent, whoever
they may be. I can't believe that discrimination continues in the wake
of such a tragic day- it really repulses me.
