Friday, December 21, 2001 9:05 AM compensation high Dear Sirs, I am appalled at the comments by some of the Sept 11 victims' families that was the result of the governments plans for compensation being released. I was also surprised that some of the packages could be in the millions of dollars for some of the families. I think that as a society we are in the habit of continually bargaining to relieve the grief of surviving members. Loss is part of life and perhaps the government should not be so willing to hand out absorbent amounts of money to some of the families.
