equal treatment




It is my understanding that those in charge of the 9/11 funds are going to
exclude some people while including others. In both cases, the law is being
used to justify these actions.



In WWII black men fought for our country and were treated as though they had
done nothing when they returned to their homes in the United States. We now
see the travisty in our bigoted response to these men.



Are we now behaving so differently when we allow our government to treat gay
and lesbian families different than any other family members who died in the
9/11 events?



Let us NOT repeat the mistakes of our bigoted past. The US is about
equality. As a voting citizen of this country, I demand our government
stand up against bigotry and treat all people as equal. Yes, this includes
people who make alternative life style choices.
