By saying he will do what the individual states do to recognise gay and lesbian couples is a very twisted way to circumvent the entire issue (as we all know that few states support or even recognise gay and lesbian couples) and support discrimination against one segment of society. If he can financially support others, such as the partners of illegal aliens, then why is he and the fund not able to support the partners of gays and lesbians?
