benefits for gay partners?
I just read that the September 11 fund will not be giving benefits to gay
partners. What kind of ridiculous discrimination is this? Some lives are more
valuable than others?
You choose to ignore immigration law to provide benefits for those who died
and were here illegally, but you choose to not recognize the sacrifice of your
own citizens just because they are gay. Gays and lesbians can sacrifice their
lives for their country, but their partners are second-class citizens. Your
group should be ashamed, and if you're not, I am ashamed for you and for this
country.
