Comments regarding compensation.
Dear Mr. Kenneth L. Zwick:
Comments regarding the forthcoming regulations for implementing and
administering the "September 11 Victim Compensation Fund." As a daughter of
lesbian moms, I strongly feel that the Department should draft regulations
that ensure compensation is available to all victims of the attack, including
the committed partners and the non-biological children of gay and lesbian
victims. The lesbians and gays that died are also Americans. And have rights
as do their families.
