I believe all survivors of the victims of 9/11 should receive compensation for their loss - yes, this would include the illegal aliens, but it must also include the loved ones of gay and lesbian victims. Most will be able to prove their domestic relationship if this is needed. Many gay and lesbian citizens have honorably served this country in many capacities - and they deserve the same recognition of their loss. Bigotry has no place in this process, as it should not in this land whose freedoms we proclaim, and whose respect for individual rights we trumpet. Please, do the right thing.
