US Denial of 9/11 Fund Monies to Gay Americans




To whom it may concern,

I have just become aware that gay and lesbian partners of the Sept. 11
tragedy victims are Not eligible for benefit checks issued by the US
government 9/11 Fund. It is my understanding that even illegal
immigrant partners are to step forward to receive their checks. Our
American Heroes who helped save lives, gave their own or were senseless
victims are no less deserving because they were homosexual. Kenneth
Feinberg's denial of benefits by weakly deferring to individual state's
treatment of gay and lesbian citizens is WRONG. These partners are No
Less traumatized by the loss of their loved ones than any other person
and are No Less deserving of the same treatment as any other Human
Being.
This is an outrage and will not be tolerated by the US gay community and
any other sane, feeling person who believes in Human Rights.
