in regards to gays and their rights

To Whom It May Concern-
The issue of compensation for homosexual partners of those lost in the Sept. 11th attacks needs to be addressed properly. Not only have those left behind suffered a great loss but now they are being neglected due to their sexual preference. I don't know why a homosexual relationship cannot be seen as a legitimate one - these people shared their life and love with the deceased just as much as the heterosexual spouses did. Please help those in control of these Sept. 11th funds see that the homosexual partners of the deceased need compensation also, that they have lost as much as anyone else and are due that respect.
