comments on victim compensation fund and rules



Sir/Ma'am-


I fully support the Special Master's plan for victim compensation. While no
system is going to satisfy everyone, I believe the proposed guidelines are
as fair a system as is likely to be humanly possible. While I deeply regret
the losses that the victims and their families have incurred, the vast
preponderance of the criticism leveled at the government is misguided and
unfair.


Never before has the government been so generous with the victims of such a
tragedy, it is sad that the affected family cannot overcome their grief and
realize this fact. Comments about fairness and rules and justice should be
directed at the terrorists who carried out these attacks, unfortunately,
these criminals don't have the money to pay out million dollar settlements.
