Victim Compensation Rules

This is a travesty of justice.

As a "widow" of September 11th, I am outraged at this "Federal Compensation
Program". It does no more than victimize us again. Because my husband
chose to educate himself, work hard, build a career, PAY into an insurance
program AND GO TO WORK ON SEPTEMBER 11TH, I am penalized? What kind of
justice is this? You are considering the insurance that my husband paid
into some kind of "reward" for me and my daughter? I think not!

We get up each day and wonder how we will get through it. We pray to God
for the strength to deal with all that has come our way. We did not ask for
this. Our family was a very happy one. It has been destroyed in a matter
of moments.

Our loved ones were left unprotected, they were told to stay put ... that
all was under control. The elevator mechanics left their posts which caused
full elevators to be stranded. There were elevators that were NOT working.
The "heroes" were being called OUT of the buildings. These were needless
deaths.

You want an opinion ... take those frozen terrorist assets and start to
distribute them. All the money in the world will not bring back my husband
and my daughter's father. All the money in the world will not cause the
pain to go away. However, someone is culpable! THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE
HAPPENED!
