same sex benifits for 9/11

Dear 9/11 Fund:
I just read the disturbing news about the fund not distributing funds to the
partners of the gay and lesbian victims of 9/11. I find that to be very
disturbing and hurtful, these people went through the same grieving process
as all the other victims families and now they have to go through the shame
of not being recognized by the us government once again. I sincerely hope
that you would reconsider your misguided decision, to not let same sex
partners receive the same compensation as any other American victim.
