Sept. 11 victim compensation

Dear People:

I urge the Department of Justice to institute guidelines for the
compensation of September 11 victims that will provide for equal
treatment of same-sex domestic partners and legally married partners.
Same-sex domestic partners in committed relationships should not be
penalized once again because our legal system does not allow them to
be married. This opinion is shared by a majority of Americans, who
wish to see the families of all victims of this tragedy given equal
opportunity for the support they need.
