Gay people not being treated equal?
I am a gay man that has been with my partner for 18 years. I was so dissappointed to hear that NOT all Americans are being treated equal. I thought that 9/11 had taught us all something. I thought that it taught us that there would be no more hyphenated Americans. (Mexican-American, Cuban American, or Gay-Americans) I thought that we were united as JUST americans. I guess not. I wish I had known before my partner gave generously. We might have just put it in our retirement, and with good reason. Maybe America will decide someday that we shouldn't get our Social security because we are gay.
