The Victim Compensation Fund benefits should go to the partners of gay and
lesbian heroes as well as to the families of heterosexual victims of
September 11th. All are Americans, all have suffered great loss, and all are
grieving. The gay and lesbian community pay taxes and have contributed to
this fund like everyone else.
