Deduction of Workers Comp and Social Security
Hello
My husband was killed at 1WTC. He earned approx $24000.00/ per year.
We have three children.
According to the presumed awards, the compensation would be approx. $900,000
before collateral offset.
After adding up the WC and SS for the next say 30 yrs or so, and deducting
that amount from the presumed award I will not receive anything. What kind
of compensation will I receive, just my life insurance that we paid into
ourselves.
What if I get remarried, and the WC's payments stop, will I be reimbursed by
the fund?
Please answer my questions at the following e-mail address:
Thanks so much.
