I am at a complete loss of words!!!!! Unbelievable. We have American families right here in pain over their losses just as the families being recognized and helped. The difference here is that Gay Lesbian Bi-sexual and Transgendered families don't seem to fit the mold and are not being taken care of. I have not heard about trust funds for the kids of these victims for when they are grown they too may go to college if they choose. Forget college though. What about having food? A roof over their heads? Heat , electric? Prisoners have more rights than our families. The "families of GLBT. I thought that definition of family had something to do with loving another person.Sharing the American dream, Freedom, The Liberty to choose. To be united involved with ones' neighborhood, community. Sharing our experiences with one another for the greater good of all. To be better people, to help others in need wanting nothing in return but for those hurting to know there is hope. That everything will be o.k. How do I think we should disperse money from the Federal Victim's funds? We should take care of every American family first. With a new definition. A definition which includes those families that want(ed) to be recognized, that have endured one day at a time together in the name of love. Love freely given to them by God, Great spirit a higher power. The laws in place now place limits on God. Who are we to question God? To question love? Love is. Love endures all. Love conquers all fears. To thine own country be true. Let's take off our blinders. Maybe we can learn something. That love has no boundries. Boundaries placed on love are only done out of fear and ignorance, bigotry and pride. Let us help OUR american families defined and undefined first. Then lets see what we can do for others.
