I'm writing you in protest of Kenneth Feinberg's
decision to limit the compensation of same sex
domestic partners from the 9/11 fund. The gay and
lesbian people who died in this tragedy were no less
human and no less heroic, and their families and loved
ones grieve for them no less than the families of
those who were heterosexual. To refuse to conpensate
these people for their pain -especially when breaking
the law of the land to compensate the families of
illegal aliens - is nothing more than homophobia. I
urge you to create one standard, and apply it to
everyone who died in this tragedy, regardless of race,
color, creed or sexual orientation.
