Monday, March 18, 2002 8:28 PM Homosexual heroes I am very concerned that the survivors of gay and lesbian people who lost their lives on 9/11 are not being given equal compensation from the funds that many people, including the gay community, donated to. How is it that all sorts of other folk, such as illegal immigrants, are being helped and somehow gay people are not eligible. I am outraged to say the least and urge you to rectify this grave injustice. I am especially concerned about partners of victims. They are hurting every bit as much as any other family members.
