I am appalled that taxpaying gay and lesbian partners of those killed in the
September 11th terrorist attacks are not going to be eligible to receive
benefits as heterosexual spouses of those similarly killed. What makes this
situation particularly difficult to comprehend is that while gay and lesbian
American partners of those killed will not receive benefits, illegal aliens
and fetuses will! Please amend the eligibility criteria to include gay and
lesbian partners of those killed in the terrorist attacks.
