Our client has been provided with a copy of your Initial Notice, and has asked that we convey her comments to you. She is concerned that the proposed compensation fund does not extend to family members but only to the deceased victim's personal representative. This would be our client's son-in-law, thus providing no compensation to other family members, in this case the mother. She asks the category of beneficiaries be widened, particularly in the case of deceased victims and particularly where (in this case) the victim's personal representative reside in the United States but no other family member does.
