Shame on you
I just heard about the decision to deny benefits to the partners of the gay men and women who died in the September 11th terror attacks. What a travesty! What happened to united we stand, and inalienable rights? Isn't it about time we put an end to discrimination and segregation by recognizing the diversity of our nation. With all the pride I have felt in recent months, it's such a shame to now feel marginalized and disrespected. Shame on whoever made this decision.
