I do not agree with your plan to deduct life insurance or pension income
from the families' share of the fund. Why should people that used their
money to plan for their future be penalized? I don't believe it is right
to disqualify family members that are not minors. If I were those families I
would sue the charities, the airlines, the INS, and you. As usual these are
just more schemes on how to take money away from people that worked hard to
be successful and transfer it to those who have lower incomes. Some
capitalistic society we live in.
