His death was terror filled as he was seated in the First Class Cabin amid the hijackers and could see the North tower wreckage from his window seat. My sister, (S) is overwhelmed by the situation and so I feel compelled to record her thoughts expressed to me over the past weeks. 1. Every single family of victims should first and foremost be given Health Insurance for the survivors. S. feels this is something that is needed by all regardless of individual family need. Health is a great equalizer. 2. Every single individual who was murdered by this act of terrorism was valued by those he/she loved. Any compensation awarded through Government should not be based on future financial earnings potential, net worth etc.. In our democracy each individual has an equal voice/vote and is entitled to respect. Justice dictates that the CEO and the Dishwasher be treated the same. Therefore, the fund should be distributed equally for each victim's survivor. Individual need can and should be accessed by the many charitable funds set up expressly for this cause and handled with those funds. This is where disparities of need are best met.This is also where needs versus wants can be sorted out.
